April 25th, 1923 at the University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA.
Mission:
To provide support for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated members and others in service to communities with particular emphasis on
African-American communities.
Vision: To become the premier Greek letter Foundation in its resources and services to the community.

Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.
Notable Chapter Facts:
Two UCLA buildings named after members of Upsilon Chapter--Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center and Tom Bradley International Hall.
Winston Doby- former UCLA Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs
Johnnie Cochran- defense lawyer in the O.J. Simpson Trial
Brett Hundley- NFL Quarterback (Greenbay Packers)
Second Fraternity established on UCLA Campus and First NPHC Fraternity.
